Frog 44 - Electric Blue Lightweight 2021

It's the perfect affordable bike for 4-5 year olds with an inside leg length of 44cm. We have reduced the weight of this model by using smaller tube diameters and thinner tube walls. The Frog 44 weighs only 6.39 kg. In addition to this weight saving, we have lowered the bottom bracket to achieve a more ergonomic position on the bike. One of the biggest temptations is to buy a bike that your child will grow into. However, this is likely to have the opposite effect and put your child off the bike and off cycling! Our new frame has a longer steerer tube that includes a 10mm spacer on top of the stem. This allows the handlebars to be moved to a higher position when waxing.

Another common mistake is buying a bike that is too cheap, as these models are often almost as heavy as the child itself and it is very difficult to ride such a bike. Our entry-level bikes, on the other hand, are light and it is easy to learn to ride a bike on them. By removing the pedals, they can also be used as a running bike for a bigger child.
