The large platform with 112cm2 (113x99mm/LxW) and 40 TATZE PINs with targeted superelevation provide enormous grip and a good connection between pedal and shoe. To further increase the grip or maximize the contact area, an additional 4 PINS per side can be screwed in. Unwanted ground contact avoids the LINK by its extremely thin design, so the pedal body at the exposed outer edge has only 8.8mm and thus the LINK is one of the thinnest pedals on the market. The open design allows dirt to fall through the pedal and makes the pedal lightweight at only 343g.
