The new generation PZERO Race TLR is the highest performing tyre in our portfolio and the first tyre with tubeless technology to be manufactured entirely in Italy in the new factory in Bollate. The introduction of the new SPEEDCORE technology in the 120 tpi carcass is characterised by the use of a compound layer mixed with aramid, which covers the inner layer of the tyre and improves both the smoothness and the resistance of the rubber. The result: a less stiff but faster tyre. The compound, on the other hand, retains the same advanced SmartEVO technology that it shares with the other high-performance tyres in the PZERO range.

Still our best chemical formulation for versatile road use, be it racing or intensive long distance cycling. Born from Pirelli's vast motorsport experience and collaboration with the factory teams of the World Tour, it is based on a single compound of three different polymers, each offering contrasting performances in a perfect mix of grip, speed and reliability. The advanced blend of polymers with 'smart' behaviour are the key elements of the SmartEVO compound, offering grip in all weather conditions and very low rolling resistance in a package that can withstand high mileage and rough road surfaces. It is a high performance chemical formulation designed for modern road cycling, from daily riding to racing, even at World Tour level.
