The S11 generation of the GT Shell jacket is water-repellent, windproof and breathable - the three key features that make a versatile cycling shell all year round. In summer, it can be stowed away in a jersey pocket in case of thunderclouds or long, cool descents. In the transition period, it can be worn over a mid-weight Spring Fall jersey for weather protection and thermoregulation. In winter, it forms a final bulwark over the winter jacket to protect against extreme wetness. This shell not only keeps out precipitation and spray, but also wicks moisture away from the interior, preventing a stuffy, humid microclimate in summer and a damp, clammy cold in spring, autumn and winter. The extended collar and hem protect the neck and keep out splash water, while ultra-elasticated cuff inserts seal at the wrists or over gloves.
