Shimano Deore XT BL-M8200/BR-M8220 rear disc brake set

The Shimano XT BL-M8200/BR-M8220 rear disc brake is a hydraulic 4-piston brake designed for MTB, Enduro and e-MTB. It combines the ergonomically redesigned BL-M8200 2-finger brake lever with the powerful BR-M8220 brake caliper, delivering high braking power, controllable modulation and a consistent lever feel on challenging trails.

The redesigned Servo Wave System ensures an optimised performance curve, whilst the new low-viscosity Shimano mineral oil maintains consistent pad contact across a range of temperatures and trail conditions. The closer pivot point, the slightly upward-curved lever and the tool-free reach adjustment promote a natural hand position and precise control on technical terrain. The brake lever is I-Spec EV compatible for a tidy cockpit.
