Park Tool chain lock pliers MLP-1.2

Many modern derailleurs use a "Master Link" (also known as "Quick Link" or "Power Link"), which allows the chain to be installed and removed without driving out a rivet. With the MLP-1.2 Master Link Pliers, these Master Links can be removed and replaced quickly and effortlessly. Simply insert the specially sized jaws into the master link. Then squeeze the handles to open or pull the handles to close the link. Compatible with 5- to 12-speed derailleurs that use a Master Link, including SRAM AXS and Shimano XTR 12-speed.

NOTE: The MLP-1.2 does not remove or install the type of Master Links when both rivets are attached to a plate. These are often found on older drivetrain systems or bikes with a speed range. To remove these types of master links, use a needle nose pliers such as the Park Tool NP-6.
