Hand pain when cycling is widespread, especially on longer tours. With conventional, rather round or seemingly ergonomic grips, numbness often occurs in the fingers as well as pain and irritation in the palm and wrists. Discomfort in the forearms and upper arms as well as in the neck and shoulders can also often be attributed to unsuitable handles.
