Pirelli presents Pure Performance with the new generation of the P ZERO Race TLR, improving one of its bestsellers on the market. With a new carcass solution, Pirelli has worked on one of the most important parameters for wheel tyres: rolling resistance - and set a new benchmark.

The new SmartEVO compound uses a blend of three different polymers, each of which contributes its own specific property, while guaranteeing a perfect balance of what are actually opposing properties: the goal for every rubber engineer. To finalise this project, Pirelli drew on its extraordinary experience gained in over 100 years of motorsport and the vast know-how of cycling. Our in-depth knowledge and chemical expertise have enabled Pirelli's material engineers and chemists to apply this ternary polymer compound in such an advanced way as to ensure the "intelligent" behaviour that is characteristic of the outstanding properties of the SmartEVO compound. Perfect grip whether wet or dry, paired with low rolling resistance. A performance package suitable for all modern road disciplines and surfaces, from local or World Tour races to epic adventures where climate and road surfaces demand tyres that perform in all conditions.

The new SpeedCORE carcass consists of a thin, airtight layer with a rubber compound of aramid particles covering the inner part of the tyre. The large and high & flexibility of the rubber compound makes the tyre faster and more supple, while the aramid particles provide a better puncture layer.

The carcass is completed by a nylon fabric and an aramid breaker, while the tread pattern uses Pirelli's most advanced compound, the SmartEVO, to achieve the highest performance. All the special features of the new P ZERO Race TLR are made in Italy and offer unique quality and superior performance.
