Only the highest quality additives are used in our HOT MELT KETTEN WAX.

additives are used:

• Such as tungsten sulphide (WS2). Tungsten sulphide has an incredibly low coefficient of friction of 0.03 - better than molybdenum, PTFE or even wet ice on wet ice!
• Increases power transmission and reduces wear. Very low friction - works over a wide temperature range from -270 °C to +650 °C

Biodegradable (OECD TEST 301 B)

Application:

The chain must be completely cleaned of oil and grease. We recommend our chain cleaner r.s.p. Jacky Chain or r.s.p. Brake Cleaner. Heat the Hot Melt Wax (melting point approx. 85 °C). When the wax is completely liquid, hang the chain on a wire hook and dip it into the liquid WAX bath. Move the chain in the bath, air bubbles may rise. After approx. 10 minutes, remove the chain and allow it to drip off over the bath. Then hang up to dry for at least 12 hours. Proceed in the same way with the chain lock. Refit the chain after it has dried completely.
