Description
Bleeding Edge
The Bleeding Edge technology allows quick and easy bleeding of the brakes. Thanks to the new fluid channel and the redesigned bleed hole, the fluid can be pumped through the caliper more easily. A special adapter slips onto the bleed port and seals the system to prevent air infiltration and fluid loss.
Direct Link
Sram's Direct Link lever design provides solid, positive braking feel as soon as the brake lever is pulled - an uncompromising solution for precise control.
Expandable Bladder
Sram's new brake lever design incorporates a new bladder shape to regulate and reduce air bubbles. The bladder is specially shaped to pump air out of the lever and deliver the fluid exactly where it's needed. The result is improved back pressure relief for reliable and consistent braking performance.
Heat Shield
Stainless steel heat shields break the thermal connection between the pad and caliper body, reducing caliper fluid temperature by approximately 20°C, even under the most extreme test conditions.
Lever Pivot Bearings
Precision sealed bearings on the rotary handle provide clean, precise handle movement and allow smooth, one-finger operation.
Piggy Back Reservoir
The brake fluid reservoir on Sram's latest lever design is engineered for optimal performance and ease of handling. The PiggyBack reservoir provides a simple and secure solution for controlling brake fluid and allows the levers to be mounted on either side - so you can swap your levers on the handlebars and brake as easily as on a motorcycle.
Timing Port Closure
The timing port of a hydraulic brake is the connection between the reservoir and the master cylinder bore. When the lever is depressed, a cup sleeve passes through this area and closes the port, pressurizing the system. Sram's new TPC Plus system for closing the synchromesh port features durable seals and an ultra-soft cylinder bore surface for reliable and consistent braking performance.
