Thanks to the smoothly damping RockShox Paragon Gold air suspension fork, this tourer is not only extremely comfortable to ride. It also impresses with its elegant appearance thanks to the sturdy integrated IC 3.0 pannier rack, as well as super-practical features such as ACID mudguards, lights and a kickstand. The powerful hydraulic Shimano Cues disc brakes reliably bring the smoothly rolling, grippy Schwalbe Marathon Mondial tyres to a halt in any weather. The icing on the cake is an electronic Shimano Cues Di2 Q'Auto 11-speed drivetrain with dynamo system on the rear wheel, which automatically shifts to the right gear when you're on the move. Here at CUBE, we are known for our extreme attention to detail. That's why we've equipped the Kathmandu with the integrated IC 3.0 pannier rack, which blends seamlessly and beautifully with our ACID mudguards. There are also mounts for a flat mount disc brake and a kickstand on the rear wheel. The chassis owes its clean, uncluttered look to the smooth welded tube connections and internal cables. So much for the looks. In terms of function, we have fitted the rear triangle with a thru-axle and a tapered head tube for optimised stability and steering precision (even when fully loaded).
