Compared with the previous generation, the combined weight of the frame and fork has been reduced by 150 g and drag reduced by a further 4 to 6 watts – measurable advantages when every second counts. The Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 2x12-speed groupset, featuring a Dura-Ace crankset and integrated 4iiii power metre, delivers precise shifting and accurate power data of the highest standard. The Newmen Streem Aero/Sprint 60/66 Vonoa carbon wheelset perfectly complements this design: the flatter rim on the front wheel improves riding stability in crosswinds, whilst the taller rear wheel profile is specifically designed for maximum aerodynamics. Combined with the 28 mm Schwalbe Pro One Aero tyres (tubeless-ready), the result is a setup that impressively combines efficiency, control and speed. Hydraulic Shimano Dura-Ace disc brakes enable precise, controllable braking manoeuvres, whilst the fully integrated CUBE IC Aero Max cockpit completes the overall aerodynamic package. Every detail thus plays its part not only in generating speed, but also in maintaining it throughout the entire race distance.
