Giant Pre rCarbon black

The Giant Pre rCarbon 2025 is an innovative balance bike for children that sets standards in terms of sustainability and lightweight construction. The frame, fork, 12-inch wheels, handlebar/stem unit and seat post with saddle are made almost entirely from recycled carbon fibres and are manufactured using the ultra-modern rCarbon process. As a result, the wheel weighs only around 2.5 kg, making it one of the lightest models on the market.

The geometry is specially designed for children: A low centre of gravity, a steeper head tube angle and a slightly forward leaning seat position ensure stability, manoeuvrability and a natural, efficient push-off movement. The 12-inch carbon wheels with 3-spoke design and smooth-running hubs as well as 1.75-inch wide tyres (made from recycled Seawastex nylon) offer comfort and good rolling characteristics on various surfaces.

The contact points are also designed with children in mind: An ergonomic, non-slip saddle made from recycled rEVA material, soft grips made from recycled TPR and PP and a narrower handlebar diameter ensure comfort and control. The handlebars and stem are fitted with protective padding. Assembly is particularly easy, as the Pre rCarbon is supplied 90% pre-assembled and has an automatically aligned fork and handlebar unit.

With its focus on recycled materials, the Pre rCarbon reduces CO₂ emissions during production by up to 50 % compared to conventional wheels.
