Completely new grip body ergonomics - now also for the Force. The system features stiffer brake calipers, the ability to brake with just one finger from the lower and upper handlebar position, bonus buttons and a texture that makes it easier to find and operate the buttons and levers. These improvements come from over four years of feedback from a wide range of riders and provide a new level of comfort and control for an even wider range of riders. It also makes it almost impossible to pinch your fingers when braking hard. Less effort, less hand fatigue, effortless operation and more control.

Bleeding Edge

With this new brake fluid circuit, the bleed port has been relocated to the underside of the brake calliper and all four piston bores can access it. This means that the brake calliper is naturally filled with fluid during bleeding, allowing easier and more even bleeding.

Reach Adjust

The fit and ergonomics of the brake lever is a very personal matter. Riders have individual position preferences as well as unique hand sizes and finger lengths. The reach adjustment makes it easy to customise the lever - for maximum control with just one finger.

Wireless shifting, battery energy management and mechatronics - our RED eTAP technology has one goal: to offer you the most intuitive operation possible. We call the switching logic behind it eTAP. The right lever shifts to the higher gear, the left lever to the lower gear. You can control the chainrings via both levers. Simple, smooth and intuitive.
