SL Carbon Layup

The Syncros Superlight SL series utilizes premium carbon fiber and construction techniques to produce components that are on average 10% lighter, yet offer the same performance and durability. These race-optimized components represent the absolute pinnacle of the portfolio and were designed specifically for Scott.

Carbon UD

Syncros uses mainly unidirectional carbon fibers because of their higher tensile strength and tensile modulus compared to braided carbon fibers.

Compression Molded

This process can be used to produce normally non-moldable, complicated parts and shapes. The material used in the process is poured into the heated compression mold. The mold is closed and pressure is applied to compress the material into the desired shape under the influence of heat. Heat and pressure are continued until the material hardens.
